TAMIYA 18103 1/32 MINI 4WD CROSS SPEAR 01 (VZ)
The Cross Spear 01 was designed by Takayuki Yamazaki, who also penned the DCR models among other Mini 4WD designs. Its body features eye-catching truss sections extending from front to rear, plus a canopy molded in tinted plastic. The VZ chassis is a compact base for the model, and comes in gray plastic with white A parts, accented by green spiral spoke wheels with small diameter, low-profile super hard tires.
VZ Chassis
The VZ chassis is a compact and lightweight design that features reinforced designs for bumper, rear stay base and more ensuring that it has the durability and flexibility to withstand racing accidents. It is also a rather adaptable unit that lets its owner make numerous updates to the setup. Low friction 620 plastic bearings are molded in POM and maximize drive efficiency, while the chassis and A parts are molded in ABS. This chassis features a gear ratio of 3.5:1.

This assembly kit creates a stylish Mini 4WD car known as the Cross Spear 02, a close relation to our earlierĀ Cross Spear 01Ā . The one-of-a-kind compact, lightweight design with a smooth, lowdown look, its cockpit shifted forward, and side trellis sections is the brainchild of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki. It is based upon the compact race-focussed VZ chassis, with red Y-spoke wheels and super hard small diameter low-profile tires that minimize bounce after jumps.

TAMIYA 92452 MINI 4WD LINE FRIENDS SALLY RACER (VZ CHASSIS)
The Mini 4WD LINE FRIENDS SALLY Racer is a specially planned car of Tamiya Korea through collaboration with Line Friends under an official licensing agreement. The cute Line Friends character Sally rides in the driverās seat. The clear orange body decorated with cute and lively Line Friends design stickers, the yellow chassis, and the A parts complete the Sally Racer, which is full of a refreshing and lively atmosphere. Ā In addition to the cute and fresh design, basic parts for the real race are also be prepared. The lightweight yet strong fin-type carbon reinforced wheels are equipped with orange hard-type low-profile tires as standard. Also included is a Torque-Tuned 2 motor decorated with Sally Racer-exclusive design stickers.

TAMIYA 95181 1/32 MINI 4WD CROSS SPEAR 01 (VZ CHASSIS) JAPAN CUP 2025
This assembly kit creates a special version of the Cross Spear 01 released to commemorate the running of the Mini 4WD 2025 Japan Cup, and given a tasteful white and blue-themed color scheme. The original Cross Spear 01 body is the brainchild of Japanese designer Takayuki Yamazaki, who gave it a thrusting, spear-like design. The body is molded in white plastic, and stickers with various logos are included to decorate it. The VZ chassis is a popular choice for Mini 4WD racers, and has its main chassis and A parts molded in matching blue. 5-spoke wheels are fluorescent orange, and paired with super hard low-profile tires featuring commemorative sidewall lettering.
